About University of Lancashire
The University of Lancashire (formerly the University of Central Lancashire, UCLan) is a large public university based in Preston, England, with additional teaching at its Burnley campus. Its international portfolio spans a broad range of undergraduate degrees — most offering a foundation-year entry route and many a placement/sandwich year — and postgraduate taught Master's including the MBA and the LLM (SQE) legal-practice route. It also offers competitive clinical routes in Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS), Veterinary Medicine (BVMS) and Clinical Dental Technology, which carry higher entry and IELTS 7.0 requirements. The standard English requirement is IELTS 6.0 overall (no component below 5.5) for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, and the University publishes country-specific entry guidance for 161 countries plus automatic country-group tuition-fee scholarships. Note: applications from students domiciled in Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat are currently restricted.
Newly added — data marked “needs verification”. Course titles, durations, IELTS and international fees are taken from official University of Lancashire (UCLan) course pages. Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary are shown as clinical routes with higher entry requirements, and applications from Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat are restricted. Always verify on the official course page before applying.
