International Alumni Scholarship

Application required

International alumni of Chester advancing from a Chester Bachelor's degree to a Chester Master's degree. Excludes: MBA, MA Art Therapy, MSc Marine and Coastal Resource Management, MA Social Work, MSc Psychiatry, MSc Physician's Associate, MSc Wildlife Conservation, all two-year MSc programmes (placement/project year routes), PGCE, and research degrees.

Confirmed exclusion list: MBA, MA Art Therapy, MSc Marine and Coastal Resource Management, MA Social Work, MSc Psychiatry, MSc Physician's Associate, MSc Wildlife Conservation, ALL two-year MSc programmes (the 33 placement/project year routes at Chester), PGCE and research degrees. Only for Chester alumni progressing directly from a Chester Bachelor's to a Chester Master's.

Commonwealth Scholarship

Application required

Nationals of Commonwealth countries meeting Commonwealth Scholarship Commission criteria. At Chester, only 2 courses are eligible: MSc Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, and MSc Family and Child Psychology.

Only 2 Chester courses are eligible: MSc Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine (chester-msc-stem-cells-and-regenerative-medicine) and MSc Family and Child Psychology (chester-msc-family-and-child-psychology). 4 scholarships available for 2026/7. Administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission — separate application required. Not applied directly through Chester.

Application required

Indian nationals meeting Chevening eligibility criteria — typically 2+ years work experience, strong academic record, and UK government criteria.

UK government scholarship — separate application via the Chevening website. Chester is a Chevening-partnered institution. Applicants must apply directly through Chevening, not through Chester.

Snowdon Masters Scholarship

Application required

Talented disabled students pursuing a Master's degree. International students are eligible — no country restriction. Indian students are eligible.

External scholarship administered by the Snowdon Trust — separate application required via the Snowdon Trust website. International students including Indian students are eligible. Amount confirmed: up to £15,000 per year. Deadline to be verified with Snowdon Trust.
