MOI & Indian Intermediate English
Medium of Instruction (MOI)
MOI not listed as an accepted English language alternative on Chester's official page. Verify with Chester International Office directly before advising students.
Indian Intermediate English (Class 12)
Indian 12th standard English accepted at 75% minimum in English. Accepted boards: CBSE, CISCE, most state boards. NOT accepted (state board only): Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh — however CBSE/ICSE from these states IS accepted. Also NOT accepted: National Institute of Open Schooling, Vocational Boards. Students from excluded state boards can use IELTS Academic instead.

Important — CAS and Course Variants
Chester specifically warns that international students cannot switch between 1-year and 2-year course variants after a CAS has been issued. Students must confirm which route (1-year standard or 2-year with placement/project) they intend to study before applying.
