Standard Postgraduate Taught Requirement
The standard MMU postgraduate taught requirement is IELTS 6.5 overall with no component below 5.5. A number of equivalent tests are accepted (below). Some courses carry higher requirements (see exceptions). Always confirm the exact requirement on the official course page.

Course Exceptions (Higher Requirements)
India Standard XII & MOI
India Standard XII English — CBSE & CISCE/ISC only
Accepted only from the CBSE and CISCE/ISC exam boards at 70%. Other Indian state boards are not accepted for the Standard XII English route (must use IELTS or an accepted equivalent). Acceptance per course is case-by-case — verify with MMU.
Medium of Instruction (MOI): recorded as case-by-case / needs verification — confirm with MMU before applying.
